Evidence status
Governance disclosure
WIMA publishes a governance claim only when the governing record, decision authority, date and permission to publish can be checked.
Facts available for publication
WIMA is the World Investment Migration Association, a Swiss association (Verein), UID CHE-190.149.065. Its address recorded in the Swiss UID Register is Rue de Carouge 73, 1205 Genève, Switzerland. The UID record was active when verified on 1 October 2026.
Those facts establish identity and legal form only. They do not establish who may represent WIMA, how decisions are made, which people hold office, or whether a named committee has authority.
Publication test for governing arrangements
A governing body or office-holder will be described only when the public record can state:
- the governing instrument or valid resolution that creates the role or body;
- its powers, limits, reporting line and matters reserved to another body;
- the appointment or election basis and the applicable term;
- the current holder or members, with identity checks and permission to publish;
- the conflict, declaration and recusal controls that apply; and
- the date on which the record was checked and the person responsible for maintaining it.
Governing documents
A governing document will be published or accurately summarised only after its signed version, adoption record, effective date and amendment history are reconciled. A summary must identify any material provisions omitted for privacy, security or another recorded reason.
Until that work is complete, this site does not claim a statutory purpose, formation date, voting model, representation rule or delegated authority.
People and bodies
WIMA does not use placeholder names, stock portraits or generic role descriptions. A future profile must be based on a valid appointment record, term information, an approved biography and publication consent. An email alias or page heading does not establish that an office or department exists.
Conflicts, funding and decision separation
Claims about autonomy or impartial decision-making require evidence about appointment control, material funding, commercial relationships, declared interests, recusals and separation between recruitment, assessment, appeal and disciplinary functions. No such broad institutional claim is made on this site at present.
Membership, standards and complaints
A proposed scheme is not an operating service. WIMA will not describe membership admissions, professional standards, credentials, complaints, discipline or appeals as operational until adopted rules, assigned decision roles, secure records and a usable public process exist. No unverified person or organisation is presented as a member or status holder.
How this page will change
When suitable records are approved, this page should add the exact governing document, decision structure, office-holder terms, conflicts controls and change history. Material changes will carry a dated update and, where an earlier statement was wrong, a linked correction notice.
