Why there is no cookie banner
A banner is not displayed because the public site does not ask a visitor to consent to cookies or comparable browser storage. WIMA will not use a banner to imply a choice where no such technology is present.
Technical request data is separate
Delivering a page involves ordinary network request data, even when no cookie is used. The privacy notice explains the technical data that may be processed by the hosting and security infrastructure. That processing does not depend on a browser identifier stored by WIMA’s pages.
External websites
WIMA pages contain links to external sources, including the Swiss UID Register. An external website may use its own cookies after a visitor follows the link. That technology is controlled by the external operator and is not part of this inventory.
Changes to the inventory
WIMA must update this notice before enabling analytics, advertising, preference storage, embedded media, account sessions or another technology that stores or reads information on a visitor’s device. The updated notice must name the provider, purpose, data, duration and available choice before collection begins.
