Development status

Proposed membership framework

WIMA is developing an evidence-led private-association membership model. No category, admission rule, credential, decision body or member record described here has been approved.

Institutional boundary

What membership could and could not mean

A future WIMA membership could verify only that WIMA admitted a person or organisation under a named, approved rule version and that the relationship had the displayed status on the check date.

It could not authorise legal, immigration, tax or financial practice; make an immigration decision; accredit every employee or service; endorse a client; or guarantee an outcome. Any required occupational licence would remain a matter for the competent public authority.

Unapproved architecture

Proposed relationship classes

Two classes are designed as association memberships and three as non-member affiliations. Swiss legal and governance approval remains necessary.
